Summer Fare



It's gettin' hot here, what about where you live? I took my Turkish plate off the wall, washed it off, and served this delicious summer salad in it the other day. What do you cook when it's hot?

Goodness, that does look delicious. Is it too much trouble to share the ingredients? Do you dress it with anything?

Mel, I washed up spinach (it's filthy here!!!) and sliced strawberries. I stir fried some chicken in oil and soy sauce with a few Asian spices. I also put cashews in. My dressing is almost always the same base...olive oil and white vinegar, salt/pepper, sugar. I think that I added some strawberry jelly to it and went light on the sugar. Been thinking of you and wondering how you are. Send me an email with prayer requests.
